Rabenhorst Cranberry Pure Juice
Cranberry Health Benefits – The Superfood
Cranberry is considered by many people to be a superfood due to its high nutrient and antioxidant content. Often consumed as a juice, cranberries contain various antioxidants and quercetin; vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B9 (folate), C, E and K; as well as important minerals like calcium, magnesium, manganese, potassium and copper1 .
Research has linked the nutrients in cranberries to various health benefits, including the management of urinary tract infection (UTI) risk, cardiovascular disease risk, digestive health, inflammation and immune functions.
With a consumption of over 700 tons of Cranberries per year, Rabenhorst is one of the largest Cranberry processors in Europe. At Rabenhorst, only selected original Cranberries from North America are harvested, carefully processed and gently bottled for Rabenhorst Cranberry Pure Juice. The result is a unique premium quality pure & unsweetened Cranberry Juice which retains the entire wealth of its natural ingredients and nutrients.
Cranberry Juice Benefits*
-
Urinary tract infections (UTI)
Cranberry Juice contains proanthocyanidins, which can help to stop bacteria from attaching to the urinary tract lining. This, in turn, helps prevent infections from developing2 in the urinary tract. Hence, regular consumption of a pure & unsweetened Cranberry Juice can help to manage risk of UTI. - Cardiovascular disease (CVD)
The proanthocyanidins in cranberries may also help to manage several CVD risk factors, including systolic blood pressure, BMI and the level of good cholesterol3 in our body. - Digestive Health
Cranberries can help to prevent Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria from growing and multiplying in our stomach lining4 . H. pylori is a bacteria that can cause formation of stomach ulcers. Thus, Cranberry Juice can aid us in our digestion. - Inflammation
Cranberry Juice contains vitamins C and E, and quercetin. Vitamins C, E and quercetin help to protect our body against free radicals, particles which contribute to our body’s ageing process and may be risk factors for chronic diseases like cancer and heart disease5. - Immune system
Cranberries are rich in vitamin C. This important nutrient is vital to keeping our immune system healthy6.
*Many commercial Cranberry Juices contain added sugar, which is detrimental to health. Choose a pure & unsweetened juice with no added sugar to reap the full benefits of cranberries!
